It has happened 150 years ago ... what has?
Today is exactly 150 years since our founder (of scouts) has been born!
Every year scouts all over the world celebrate his birthday on 22nd of February (the day of Bi- Pi remebrance), but today, we have a reason more to celebrate, because round anniversarys don't happen every day!
Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell was the seventh of eight sons among ten children. In his long and rich life, he has joined the British Army and was posted in India and Africa, where he defeated the whole army by himself and got his "scout" name IMPEESA, which means A wolf that never sleeps.
After that he wrote books, one of them was called Scouting for Boys. He wrote it after the first scout camp ever, which was situated on Brownsea in 1907. With a book and a camp new movement has started ... Later on his wife Olave and sister Agnes helped to establish a Girl Guides Movement.
Today is Badnen-Powell known among us scouts as B-P or Bi-Pi in Slovenia, and there are many members in scout organizations known as WOSM and WAGGS.

Let us all open our hearts and celebrate his birthday, if it weren't for him, there won't be such fun and educational movement as scouts!:) happy birthday B-P!
